Privacy policy

Last updated: 3 November 2026

Vagastory is a road-trip companion published at vagastory.com. This policy describes how the current local/demo apps treat information.

What we collect today

The demo apps run against a local API on your computer. Origin and destination you type are sent only to that API. Location is used on-device to place you on the map. We do not operate a production user database yet.

What we will collect later

When store builds ship, we may collect account email, trip searches, and crash logs needed to run the service. We will update this page before that launch. We will not sell personal information.

Location

Location permission is optional. If granted, it is used to show your position on a trip map. You can refuse and still plan a route.
